Back in 2018, Eason Chan and Hilary Tsui’s daughter Constance was photographed going on a date with a male classmate. The pictures quickly went viral online, but supportive parents Eason and Hilary quickly stepped in to defuse the situation.

When speaking to the media at an event, Hilary shared that they were fully aware that their daughter’s dating, and that they were supportive of her relationship.

However, it appears that Eason and Hilary’s stance on their daughter's love life might have changed a bit in recent years.

According to Hongkong media, Constance was supposed to move on to Secondary Five last year. However, the 16-year-old had to repeat Secondary Four allegedly ‘cos she was “too busy dating”.

A media outlet later got in contact with Eason who replied with a terse “No comment!”

And now, it seems like the anxious parents are keeping a closer watch on Constance, and are reportedly engaging a number of methods to get their daughter to focus on school. That includes limiting her social activities as well as preventing Constance from meeting up with her boyfriend.

Further reports also claim that the couple intends to send Constance overseas to further her studies in the next few years.

Recently, Eason was also spotted heading to the gym with Constance by the paparazzi, where the media noted that he acted like her “driver and bodyguard”.

While Eason was said to be in a good mood, frequently turning to converse with his daughter, Constance was more sullen, with the paps describing the 16-year-old as “sulky”.

Father and daughter later stopped by a friend’s house and while the singer and said friend were busy conversing, Constance, like any other angsty teenager, took the opportunity to head out for a stroll, even bringing along her earphones to block out the world.

Pictures of Constance and Eason’s gym run were soon published, and netizens, like always, could not help but comment about Constance’s good looks. Many of them highlighted the fact that Constance had grown up well, commenting that she looked very fit in her gym wear.
