“No words can describe the pain of losing a child, wrote the Taiwanese actor on social media.
Taiwanese-British actor Rhydian Vaughan, 33, revealed the heartbreaking news that he and his wife Jessica Hong have lost their baby in an emotional message on social media yesterday (Aug 15).
It was already 30 weeks when we found out about the tumour. The doctor told us that you had a kidney that was not developed. From the initial worry about the surgeries you will face after birth, to losing you completely... I am heartbroken, wrote Rhydian on Instagram.
“No words can describe the pain of losing a child, but I know you wouldn’t want me to lose hope in life because of this. I will continue to work hard at this. Thank you for your nine months of company. You let me know that I should cherish what I have even more, and at the same time I have experienced the fragility [of life]… Rest in peace, my child, I owe you one.”
He also encouraged those who have lost loved ones during the pandemic and hopes that the pain will fade away over time.
According to Rhydian’s manager, the couple had lost their baby around July.
“I hope everyone can cherish what they have and take care during the pandemic. Thank you for your concern! said Rhydian's manager.
Jessica was three months pregnant when Rhydian announced that they were expecting their second child in January.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2016, have a five-year-old son, nicknamed Little Fungus .
