Steven Ma is not the only star who is proving that one is never too old to further your studies.

Taiwanese actress Ruby Lin, 45, recently graduated with an MBA from Shih Hsin University's overseas master’s programme. According to reports, she was originally doing the course in the uni's Shanghai campus but had to transfer to its Taipei campus after the pandemic hit.

Ruby told Taiwanese media that she was “very happy” to have gone back to school.

“I spent my first semester at the Shanghai campus but the next comprised of virtual classes only. I attended physical classes at the Taipei campus in my final semester. I prefer attending classes in person because I’m able to discuss material with my classmates, she said.

Sadly, the graduation ceremony had to be a virtual affair no thanks to the surging number of COVID-19 cases in Taiwan.

It was also revealed that Ruby was the recipient of her cohort's Outstanding Achievement Award and that she was unanimously voted as the winner by her professors.

One of her professors who spoke to the media revealed that Ruby was often the first one in the classroom. She also never skipped classes and was never late despite being busy with work.
