Stefanie Sun Shares Rare (& Adorable) Photos Of Her Daughter While Suggesting Stay-At-Home Activities
And JJ Lin chimed in with one idea that she left out.
Singapore songbird Stefanie Sun belongs in the category of fiercely private celeb parents who avoid flashing their kids’ faces on social media. In fact, she hardly posts much about her little ones — seven-year-old son “Na Xiao Zi” and a daughter who turns two this year — at all.
Well, her followers were in for a very rare treat this morning (March 24), as the 41-year-old shared not one, not two, but three photos of her baby girl.
So what was the special occasion? Nothing, actually. Stef was just offering ideas on what to do for those practising safe distancing and staying at home amid the COVID-19 outbreak, because it can get superbly boring.
And guess what? What Stef does at home is probably what we're already doing at home. But if it gives her a reason to snap and share more pictures of her daughter, then hey, keep them coming.
This shot of the little one copying her mama’s downward dog pose — and even attempting to one-up her by lifting her leg — is our favourite one of the bunch. Someone get her a pair of tiny yoga pants!
Can we just say that, Stef’s daughter has some really nice eyebrows. We’re totally jelly.
Looks like Nat Ho’s not the only one cultivating his own garden of greens. From the looks of it, Stef’s been growing Chinese cabbage, kai lan, and Brazilian spinach. Love the environmentally friendly reuse of plastic cups.
Thanks to technology, safe distancing does not mean sacrificing your social life completely as you can still “meet up” with your pals over the internet. We wonder if Stef does this with her more famous pals as well.
Stef picked up painting a few years ago, and from the looks of it, she’s been surfing the net searching for inspiration to keep her hobby going.
Parents, here's one more way to occupy your kids... and amuse yourself. Also, unless you’re as pint-sized as Stef’s daughter, it's probably not advisable to hide by wedging yourself in between sofa cushions, as adorable as she makes it look here.
And take some very aesthetically pleasing interior shots while you’re at it.
With streaming activity experiencing a surge as more folks are staying home, people probably don't need a reminder to become couch potatoes.
That’s it for Stef’s Stay-at-Home Suggestions, but wait: is she missing something?
“You can also write songs,” her fellow homegrown singing treasure JJ Lin remarked with an emoji raising a single eyebrow, which seems to suggest that he was judging her — half-jokingly, we reckon — for leaving out such an important thing and hinting at her to start work on a new album soon.
Hey, what are friends for, right?
