Taiwanese comedienne Xiao Tian Tian, who gave birth to her daughter on July 2, has been sharing a lot of funny anecdotes about motherhood ever since she revealed she was pregnant.

The 36-year-old, who is now recuperating in a confinement centre, wrote: “I couldn’t breastfeed [my daughter] the first time I tried, but with the help of a nurse, I managed to squeeze out some milk for her (…) I never imagined that having big breasts would finally come in handy.”

Tian Tian went on to say that in the past, no one cared when she wore revealing outfits that showed off her beautiful twin peaks , which she felt was a waste of her assets.

I’d never have thought that they would finally come in handy for this meaningful and noble cause: to breastfeed my child. I'm proud of myself and feel that I'm someone of value, she added.

She then ended her post with a message to new mothers, who she believes all have it hard.

“Thinking that you’re not good enough only makes you feel worse. You’ll feel better in time, and it’s okay even if you can’t manage to breastfeed your child. You can see how much your baby drinks when you bottle feed them, so there are advantages to both ways of feeding your child. Don’t limit yourself, she said.

Xiao Tian Tian surprised everyone in January when she announced that she was married and had a baby on the way. Her husband is a 30-year-old office worker working in the insurance industry.
