TVB Actor Marco Lee Denies Leaking Ex-Girlfriend’s Nude Pics And Spreading Rumours That She’s A Prostitute
He says someone had shown him the pics and he had warned them not to share it.
TVB artiste Marco Lee has been accused by his ex-girlfriend of sharing her nude photos and spreading malicious rumours that she was offering sexual services online.
The model, who only wanted to be known as Miss C, told Hongkong media that Marco is the biggest suspect as she had left the mobile phone containing her nude photos at his home.
According to reports, Miss C and the 28-year-old actor, who has played in bit roles in dramas like the recent The Witness and Go! Go! Go! Operation C9, split in November last year after dating for six months due to a clash in personalities. She felt he was too clingy, childish and lacked ambition.
When Miss C tried to retrieve her phone, Marco said he had thrown it away. It was only later that she discovered someone had tried to log in to her Instagram using a Redmi phone.
She also claimed that Marco kept pestering her after the breakup. One day, when she was out on a date with her new boyfriend, Marco suddenly called her saying he knew her whereabouts.
Miss C’s nightmare began in March this year when she was harassed over the phone after rumours that she was offering sexual services started swirling online.
In October, she found out that her nude photos had been leaked and fake screenshots of her supposed WhatsApp chats with “potential customers” were circulated on the internet. There was even one with a photo of her and her twin sister, claiming to offer threesomes.
Miss C said she has been receiving more than 20 calls a day asking for her rate and that the scandal has damaged her image and caused her great distress. She has since filed a police report.
When contacted by the media, Marco admitted that Miss C had indeed left her mobile phone and clothes at his home, however he had already thrown them away. As for the nude photo leak, he said he only learned about it from a friend and that he is no longer in contact with his ex.
I wish to clarify that I never posted the nude photos or spread rumors about her online. On the contrary, someone did show me her nude photos this year, and I told them not to share them. I reserve the right to pursue legal proceedings [against malicious rumors], he said.
