Vincent Wong Bares His Bod (Again) In New Drama, The 11th Show In A Row He’s Gone Shirtless
Yes, people have been keeping count. Not that anyone's complaining.
TVB crime thriller Murder Diary debuted to much buzz on Monday (Jun 28). But what caught everyone’s attention wasn’t the drama’s gripping storyline or its star-studded cast, but rather actor Vincent Wong’s chiselled bod.
The 37-year-old, who plays an undercover agent suffering from Dissociative Identity Disorder, had fans swooning over his physique when he danced shirtless in a scene in the first episode.
The gym rat works hard for his body and has no qualms about going shirtless.
In fact, Murder Diary marks the 11th drama in a row that Vincent has bared his bod in.
The Hongkong media even joked that Vincent, whose Cantonese name is Wong Hou Shun, should change his nickname from “Slap Shun” (he earned that nickname after being slapped repeatedly in TVB dramas Silver Spoon, Sterling Shackles and Will Power) to “Shirtless Shun”.
It started in 2015 when he showed off his physique for a fight scene in period drama With Or Without You. A year later in 2016’s Over Run Over, he seemed to have lost most of his gains and tan when he stripped down to his skivvies for an “underwear run”.
Vincent upped the ante when he bared all — at least that’s what it looked like on screen — in Dead Wrong. 2017’s My Unfair Lady saw him running on the streets in nothing but a towel.
In 2017's Legal Mavericks, Vincent removed his shirt in court for a scene. P/S: It was pivotal to the plot, okay? The same year, he went for a swim in Heart Of Greed 3. And you have to be shirtless to do that right?
He got buff again to play a boxing tournament producer in 2018’s Fist Fight.
You can’t see much in this pic from 2019's The Man Who Kills Troubles, but according to Vincent, he doubled down on his workouts to play a former triad member.
The actor stayed true to form (and what fine form he has) in last year's Al Cappuccino and Legal Mavericks 2.
Never change Vincent, never change.
