So surprised by how youthful the 72-year-old looks, one of the stars commented that if he didn’t know better, he would have thought Wu Chun’s father was a young man. Netizens are also saying he can pass off as 30-plus-year-old, though we think that’s a stretch. More like someone in his early-fifties, if you ask us.

Daddy Wu is said to be a real estate tycoon in Brunei and his car distribution business is one of the largest in the country, which kinda makes him more like Daddy Warbucks instead. He is also an avid swimmer and once represented his country in basketball and says that it’s his love for sports and exercise that keeps him looking young. Guess that bodes well for fitness enthusiast and gym owner Wu Chun.Of his dad, Wu Chun said on the show: “He gave us a lot of freedom to explore this world, and he has a very good temper. I’ve never heard him raise his voice or argue with other people, and he has never scolded or hit me before.”

He also added on Weibo that it was fate that made them father and son and that he hopes his dad remains healthy and youthful forever. A few days later Wu Chun recounted the conversation he had his father about being on the show. He wrote: “I asked him, ‘Dad, there’s a group of people who want to invite us to be on a reality show, do you wish to be part of it,’ And Daddy Wu, who is shy, said “Sure!” without any hesitation. What’s the oldest age that a person can be considered hot? If you’re the father of Bruneian heartthrob Wu Chun, the answer is 72. Chinese netizens are going cray-cray over the septuagenarian after he made an appearance with his 39-year-old son in the new variety show The Best Times. From what we hear, the show brings together celebrities and their parents to chronicle their day-to-day interaction — think of it as the geriatric version of Dad! Where Are We Going, which interestingly turned Wu Chun’s two kids Max and Nei Nei into stars.
