Vincent Wong’s Best Actor win at the TVB Anniversary Awards on Sunday (Jan 10) became the night's most talked about moment for one reason — his wife Yoyo Chen's blank expression when he thanked her in his acceptance speech.

You see, rumours that their marriage is on the rocks have swirled for years and her lack of a reaction at Vincent's big win has only added fuel to the fire.

After the show, the 39-year-old actress shared that she was too happy about his win, which caused her to be distracted and not notice that he had mentioned her.

However, netizens didn't seem to buy her clarification (do you blame them?). It didn't help that Yoyo was seen leaving the awards without Vincent.

In an interview yesterday (Jan 12), Yoyo was again asked about what happened that night. She said: “I hugged him [after the show ended] to congratulate him (…) I had a headache, so I wasn’t feeling very well while I was in the audience.”

As for why she decided to leave without Vincent, Yoyo would only say: “I was feeling very unwell. It was cold, which made things worse. I didn’t want to affect the festivities, so I decided to go home on my own.”

She then added that she helped her daughter with her homework after taking a short rest.
