If you’re one of the few people who have yet to see Avengers: Endgame, please note that there spoilers in this story. Then again, if you’ve come this far, it can mean one of three things: One, you’ve seen see Avengers: Endgame, perhaps more than once. Two, you don’t really care about the movie. Or three, you wander here by mistake when you’re really looking for the latest bubble tea news.
On this page, we’ve put together a bunch of memes created and shared by folks inspired by the 22nd Marvel Cinematic Universe instalment. There are lots of them out there — some are funny, others kooky, and there are the ones that fall in the try-too-hard category. (The spoilers-without-context posts are cute at first until they started to get a little repetitive.) We’ll update this page as and when we come across memes that stand out in the crowd.
When Endgame footage was leaked online, directors Anthony & Joe Russo shared a meme of Doctor Strange to combat trolls threatening to ruin Endgame’s surprises. And if you didn’t see Infinity War, you’d totally not get it.
Some jokers found a way to share memes on social media without spilling the secrets — by using random non-MCU images to represent key moments in Endgame. The pictures are like the secret handshake to a club — they mean something only to those who’ve seen the movie. For others, they’re just gibberish.
They predicted Donald Trump’s ascension to the presidency. They foresaw Disney’s 20th Century Fox buyout. So is it a surprise that they also knew something about Endgame?
This one uses a line from Captain Phillips to show that Captain Marvel is more badass than Captain America.
Of course, there are people who think Captain Marvel is vastly overrated. (Sorry.)

A few time travel movies get referenced in Endgame, and one of them is Robert Zemeckis' 1985 classic, Back to the Future. The time heist itself recalls the one in Back to the Future Part II.
When Endgame recently grossed US$2.24 billion worldwide, beating Titanic’s US$2.24 billion haul (unadjusted for inflation), it became the second top-grossing film of all time. Director James Cameron took to Twitter to congratulate Marvel Studios: “It took The Avengers to sink my Titanic.” Cameron’s Avatar still the reigning global champ with US$2.8 billion.
