Captain America's iconic shield has been 'projected' onto the Singapore Flyer.
With a little use of special effects, the legendary Marvel shield was made to appear on the observation wheel in a video to celebrate the launch of the highly-anticipated Disney + series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Friday (Mar 19).
Last month, to mark Disney+ launch in Singapore, the streaming service threw a lavish concert featuring performances by JJ Lin, Nathan Hartono, Benjamin Kheng and Annette at Marina Bay Sands, as well as an awe-inspiring projection mapping show that cast iconic Disney characters and scenes onto landmarks around Marina Bay.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier' stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson/ Falcon — who was handed Captain America's shield in Avengers: Endgame by Steve Rodgers (Chris Evans), and Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes/ The Winter Soldier. The pair team up on a global adventure that tests their abilities — and their patience.
The six-episodes series also stars Daniel Bruhl, Emily VanCamp and Wyatt Russell. It’s Marvel Studios’ second TV series, following WandaVision.
