If you’re a Mickey Mouse fan, it’s time to get creative using the beloved Disney icon as your muse.

In celebration of Mickey Mouse’s 90th Anniversary and with National Day just around the corner, Raffles City is partnering with Disney this year for its Arts In The City program – more information will be revealed at the end of July. Simply submit a sketch of how you might style Mickey Mouse, and the 10 best designs will be brought to life with a public showcase of 90cm tall Mickey Mouse figurines at Raffles City Atrium.

The top 3 entries will be rewarded with up to 1 million STAR$® which is equivalent to S$1,000 worth of CapitaVouchers.

This contest is open to all Singaporeans aged 18 and above. Here’s how to enter:

Download the Mickey Mouse template here and start sketching. Submit the completed entry together with your name, email address, contact number and short description of the design (no more than 300 words) to marcom.rcs [at] capitaland.com. Closing date: Sunday, July 22, 11.59pm.

As Mickey Mouse is a universal symbol of happiness and hope, please adhere to these guidelines:

• Mickey Mouse embodies the fun, lovable, optimist in all of us who wants to delight friends of all ages from around the globe.
• Mickey Mouse’s characteristics: Optimistic, clever, cool, funny, adventurous, mischievous, silly, energetic and caring.
• Be creative and keep in mind quintessential Singapore flavours in food, customs, heritage and architecture.
• Your design and styling should be generic, yet as authentically Singaporean as possible.
• Keep it PG-rated please.
• No association with war, violence, politics or religion.
• Mickey Mouse should be represented in his entirety and not be defaced, deformed or damaged.
• No promotion of other brands. For example, Mickey Mouse should not be attired in any recognisable clothing or accessory labels.

Wait for the call
The top 10 finalists will be contacted by Tuesday, July 24. The finalists will be required to paint their uniquely designed Mickey Mouse figurines at Raffles City's Level 1 Garden Court on Sunday, July 29, 3pm - 5pm.
