Your friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man swings into town this June and July, and he wants to hang out at Changi Airport's Terminal 3. From now till July 14, there will be a slew of activities and promotions featuring the new Spidey movie, Spider-Man: Far From Home, which opens here July 2.

So what's exciting? First off, lots of photo opportunities. And not just ordinary photo ops where you pose with Spider-Man statues, but trick-eye photo ops, which make it look like you're hanging upside down in Peter Parker's room, exchanging web messages (hur, hur) while perched on top of buildings in Prague, and taking a gondola ride in Venice, in scenes straight out of Spider-Man: Far From Home.

Also special, an exhibition featuring actual Spider-Man costumes from the film, flown in exclusively from Hollywood. And what's a school holiday special without attempts to tire the kids out? There's an adventure playground for web-slinger wannabes, where they can climb 'webs', swing on a zip-line, and dive into danger and excitement (actually, just foam cubes — don't worry, very safe).

So what's free and what do you have to spend money on?

1 of 10 Spider-Man Trick Eye Exhibition, free

Where: Terminal 3, Basement 2 (Opposite Kopitiam)
When: 31 May to 14 July. Open daily, 10am – 11pm

There are three trick-eye photo ops here, and this particular one involves you hanging outside a building. It's actually a mirror reflection — so you're lying on the floor, and if you're positioned right, your reflection should look like you're perched outside a building. Get your poses ready before you get in, 'cos there's likely to be a crowd jostling for photos, especially at peak times.

2 of 10 Venice photo wall at the ST3PS, Meet & Greet Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man

Where: Terminal 3, Basement 2, ST3PS
When: 31 May to 14 July. Open daily, 10am – 11pm

This is also where the Meet & Greet Your Friendly Neighbourhood Spider-Man will happen, on June 1-2, 8-9 15-16 (Saturdays and Sundays), 2pm & 7pm. To redeem a Meet & Greet pass, you have to spend $50 at Changi Airport shops or $80 at the supermarket (in a single day same-day receipt; limited to 1st 50 redemptions per meet & greet slot).

3 of 10 Spider-Man Europe Exhibition, free

Where: Terminal 3, Level 2, Departure Hall Immigration (in front of Central Immigration)
When: 31 May to 14 July. Open daily, 10am – 11pm

Here, find more photo ops, including an installation of Rialto Bridge in Venice, inspired by original scenes in Spider-Man: Far From Home. Also, marvel at props and three original Spider-Man suits from the movie on display — direct from Hollywood!

4 of 10 Spider-Man Adventure Playground, minimum spend needed to redeem passes

Where: Terminal 3, Level 2, Departure Hall (near Check-in Row 11)
When: June School Holidays (31 May, 1 June to 30 June) 12noon – 11pm
July 5, 12 (Fridays) 6pm – 11pm
July 6-7,13-14 (Saturdays and Sundays) 12noon – 11pm
July 8 (Youth Day) 12noon – 11pm

Spider-Kids can expend all their spider energy on a zip-line, mini obstacle courses featuring tyre swings and suspended rings, and a Web of Survival, a climbing web designed to test just how good your Spider-Sense is. To redeem Play Passes for the adventure playground, you need to make a minimum spend of $50 ($80 for supermarkets) in a single same-day receipt at Changi Airport shops. Scan the QR code on your receipt, select your desired date and time and show your e-ticket on the day of your visit.

5 of 10 Web of Survival

Can you survive the web? And we don't mean the Internet.

  • 6 of 10 Into the Spider-Verse

The worlds of two young Spidey wannabes collide, and the universe's fate hangs in the balance.

  • 7 of 10 Trick Eye tricks revealed.

The pic you want is the one in the reflection. Crop out all the fake superhero stuff on the floor.

  • 8 of 10 Just hanging out in someone's (Peter Parker's?) bedroom

Another Trick Eye photo op. This probably isn't a very good example of a great photo. Like we said, figure it out first before you get into the shot. Or risk the wrath and tsks of all the people waiting in line behind you.

  • 9 of 10 Meet Spider-Man in person, or maybe meet 50 Spider-Men?

To kick off Changi Airport's Spider-Man June Holiday event, a flash mob of 50 Spider-Men emerged out of nowhere, to the delight of media guests.

  • 10 of 10 Spider-Man: Far From Home x Changi Airport

Look out for more Spider-Man activities at Changi Airport, including a chance to redeem a complimentary pair of tickets to catch Spider-Man: Far From Home at Shaw Theatres Jewel, when you make a minimum spend of $120 with Mastercard at Changi Airport.
