’Tis the season to find cartoon characters in malls. After all, everyone from Line Friends and We Bare Bears to Minions and Elsa invading shopping malls. Whether you’re a kidult who’s a fan, or are just looking to keep the kiddos occupied, this is the handy guide you should bookmark.

Where: City Square Mall, L1 City Green Park and L1 Stage
When: Nov 15 to Dec 29
How to meet them: Catch the live musical show, We Bare Bears Christmas Adventure, with Bros, Grizz, Pan-Pan and Ice Bear. Nov 30 to Dec 15 (except Dec 2 and 9) at 2pm & 7pm (Tue-Fri) and 1pm, 4pm & 7pm (Sat-Sun). Take a selfie with the bear-y cute stars with minimum spending at the mall, limited redemptions available.
Other highlights: Let your kiddos burn some energy at the We Bare Bears bounce house filled with inflatables, or strike a pose at the sparkly WBB-themed Christmas Square with chockfull of Insta-opps. Fancy some faux snowfall in your photos? Whip out your phone for some videos because there are several 10-min-long snow sessions happening at the mall, against a neon backdrop of cute furries. How to meet them: There are meet-and-greets on select weekends from Nov 19 to Dec 21 at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm at various locations each week.
Other highlights: There’ll be an attempt to form the biggest gathering of Minions fans in a single location to enter the Singapore Book of Records. Happening Nov 30 at Waterway Point, registration required and successful fans will get a plethora of goodies and a chance to win prizes. Other activities: cycle on stationary bikes to power up a Minions Christmas tree, make your own Christmas cards, get free balloons and play games. How to meet them: Half-hour song and dance performances on Dec 6-8 (11am, 1pm at AMK Hub; 5pm & 7pm at Jurong Point), and on Dec 13-15 (11am, 1pm at Jurong Point; 5pm, 7pm at AMK Hub). Meet-and-greet passes available with minimum spending, first come first served.
Other highlights: It’s gonna be a kawaii Christmas with larger-than-life Doraemon experiences. There’s a mega Doraemon-themed inflatable playground, ball pit and phtoo walls (tix at $5 for half hour of play, or free with minimum spend). How to meet them: Fans of the Disney Junior animated series, listen up because there are three ways to get up close with the characters. Catch them at a live show on Tuesdays to Sundays from Nov 29 to Dec 8 (1pm & 7pm Tue-Thur; 1pm, 4pm & 7pm Fri-Sun). Snag photo opps when you redeem passes with a minimum spending (limited passes available). Or attend a PJ Masks Workshop and Tea Party (Nov 29 to Dec 8 to meet Catboy, Owlette & Gekko and make your own masks (select days only).
