Vasantham To Hold Virtual Concert For Migrant Workers On Vesak Day
The 90-minute tribute concert will be simulcast on Vasantham and meWATCH.
To support our migrant workers and lift their spirits during this difficult period of the COVID-19 crisis, Mediacorp is throwing a virtual tribute concert on Thursday (May 7).
Produced in association with events management company De Ideaz, Vasantham LIVE! Arpanam will be telecast live on Vasantham on Vesak Day at 7pm.
The 90-minute special will also be streamed simultaneously for free on meWATCH. To give the show a more ‘live’ feel, it will cross over to Oli 96.8FM during the commercial breaks.
The line-up includes homegrown crooners such as Suthasini and Mohamed Raffee, and from India, popular playback singers Karthik and Andrea Jeremiah. The show will be hosted by Karthikeyan, Udaya Soundari, Jaynesh, Ravi G, Haleema, Vimala Velu, and Sajini. Here is the full roster:
