After lying low for one and a half years following his career-killing cheating scandal, Taiwanese pop star Show Luo has finally made his showbiz comeback.

Last Saturday (Nov 20), the 42-year-old released his new song ‘Trap Game’, his first single in two years.

He also released a music video for the track, which racked up more than 480,000 views on YouTube in 24 hours. At the time of writing, it has been viewed over 600,000 times. The comments on the video were mostly positive, with many fans welcoming his comeback and praising the upbeat dance track and sleek choreography.

However, there were also netizens who noticed that Show didn't look as fit as he used to and promptly subjected him to a round of nasty fat shaming.

“If you want to make a comeback, the first thing you have to do is to regain your looks. You definitely have to lose weight, sing and dance well. There are currently two artistes you should set as your goal, Jackson Wang and Rain,” read one particularly biting comment.

1 of 1 Show with his mum

Ever since his ex-girlfriend Grace Chow's damning expose on his cheating ways forced him to go on a hiatus in April 2020, Show has been spending a lot of time with his family.

The star said on social media that he had been indulging in his mum's cooking and in February, revealed that he weighed 82kg, his heaviest since he entered showbiz. However, with proper diet and exercise, he managed to shed seven kilos in two weeks.
