Taiwanese Host Pai Bingbing's S$29mil Mansion Revealed
The living room in the four-storey house is said to be the size of a three-room HDB in Singapore.
Taiwanese host Pai Bingbing has given the public a peek at her NT$600mil (S$29mil) mansion, one year after part of it was exposed online without her knowledge by a contractor.
The 66-year-old star gave the exclusive house tour to Jacky Wu and his Mr. Player co-host Kid, and the episode was shown on September 5.
The four-storey mansion in the Linkou District is built on a 991.8 square meter plot of land that Bingbing bought 20 years ago for NT$130mil (S$6.3mil).
While the cost of the construction and renovation wasn't revealed, it’s estimated that her not-so-humble abode is now worth a whopping S$29mil.
Her living room is said to be 66 square meters, which is about the size of a three-room HDB in Singapore.
Bingbing shared that she decorated her bathroom with colourful tiles in hope that it would “get rid of [her] feeling of loneliness”.
She has reportedly been living alone ever since her daughter was tragically kidnapped and murdered in 1997.
Bingbing was married to manga writer Ikki Kajiwara, whom she divorced in 1981. She has not publicly admitted to being in another relationship after that.
