Tavia Yeung’s IG post venting about being “angry and disappointed” leads netizens to speculate about marriage being on the rocks

The speculation got so wild Tavia had to publicly address the issue with Hong Kong media.

This post from the usually level-headed Tavia Yeung, 43, left netizens very concerned about the state of her marriage with fellow celeb Him Law, 38.

The couple tied the knot in 2016 after dating for five years. With two kids in their family now, Tavia and Him have been viewed as a perfect couple.

Tavia posted this picture of an angry emoji, along with this fury-fuelled caption: “When you feel angry and disappointed, what else can you do!!! Again and again, lying without compunction, my continued silence does not mean that I don’t know [what’s going on!] Don’t ask me [about this], I will not answer you.” Not surprisingly, netizens immediately wondered if there was trouble at home.

“[Him] tonight sleep sofa (sic),” one netizen hilariously commented, attempting to make light of the situation. Others rushed to comfort Tavia, writing that “getting too angry is not good for your health”.

“It’s not worth it to hurt yourself ‘cos of others,” a netizen cautioned.

Others couldn’t help their curiosity, venturing to ask Tavia what exactly happened, even though the furious actress had warned everyone that she will not elaborate about what’s going on.

Then there were those who immediately got the rumour mill chugging, wondering if Tavia was going to divorce Him.

“A single count of unfaithfulness will be repeated hundred times over, if a man isn’t honest, why bother keeping him [by your side]? Get a divorce,” a well-meaning (?) netizen wrote.

All is well here.

Thankfully, it looks like there’s nothing wrong with the couple’s relationship. Perhaps Tavia herself was taken aback by the strong reaction to her post, ‘cos she spoke to Hong Kong media despite declaring that she would not comment.

In the interview, she assured that her IG rant was not directed at her husband. Rather, she was addressing a “friend she was disappointed with”. Phew.

Him also confirmed that all is well with his wife, sharing in another interview: “My wife was very disappointed by a friend, so she vented her feelings [in the post]”, before adding that he’ll comfort Tavia once he’s done with work.
