These Are The Resorts You Can Book If You’re Travelling To Bintan Or Batam On The Travel Bubble & VTL

Travel bubble visitors can only vacay at hotels in designated travel bubble zones.

While Bintan and Batam have opened their doors to Singapore travellers since Jan 24, folks still had to serve quarantine when they returned to Singapore. Not until Singapore reciprocated and announced the launch of a sea Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) with Bintan and Batam from Feb 25, finally allowing for quarantine-free travel both ways (read our full Bintan-Batam VTL travel guide here).

However, under Indonesia’s travel bubble rules, travellers are only allowed in designated travel bubble zones on each island, among other regulations (read about it here) — specifically, Nongsa in Batam and in Lagoi in Bintan.

Most Bintan resorts cover only land transfers between the Bintan ferry terminal and the resorts, so travel bubble/VTL travellers to Bintan will have to get their ferry tickets, travel insurance and book their tests, all via Bintan Resort Ferries (book here).
