Wallace Chung, 47, Described As Looking As If He “Had An Inexplicable Force Supporting His Skin” After Appearance On Variety Show
It’s the same variety show where Nicky Wu got age-shamed and fat-shamed not too long ago.
Hongkong star Wallace Chung made it big as a singer in the ‘90s before shifting to China to focus on his acting career, which eventually propelled him to heartthrob status, thanks to romance dramas like Too Late to Say I Love You and My Sunshine.
His latest variety show appearance has set not hearts aflutter, but curious minds speculating if the 47-year-old may have gone a little overboard with his aesthetic treatments.

Some netizens think Wallace looks “unrecognisable” now
Recently, Wallace guested on iQiyi’s Let’s Go Skiing and, not unlike what happened to poor Nicky Wu on the very same programme, got netizens talking about his looks for not-so-flattering reasons.
While his sense of humour garnered praise from viewers, some pointed out that there was something a bit “strange” about his face, namely how “swollen” it looked.

Even his hair and outfit weren’t spared from criticism
He was also described as having “sagging eyelids”, “obvious laugh lines”, “stiff and unnatural expressions”, and, as one imaginative media outlet put it, looking as though he had “an inexplicable force supporting his skin”.
This led to suspicions that Wallace probably turned to various cosmetic procedures in order to maintain a “godlike” handsomeness for work but overdid it this time.
Well, given how scarily celebs’ looks are scrutinised, can anyone really blame him for wanting to do such a thing?

It’s hard being in the spotlight
