This Week’s Best-Dressed Local Stars: Jun 11-18

The most stylish celeb OOTDs of the week.

This week, cool girls Rui En and Carrie Wong went for failsafe black ensembles, while Jeanette Aw, Rebecca Lim, He Ying Ying and Jean Danker lit up our screens with their bright and colourful looks.

Rebecca Lim

We love how unabashedly bold and cheery Becks looks in head-to-toe Valentino. Bonus points for matching her beach-ready two-piece with the cute mini tote.

Christopher Lee

What’s a beach vacay without a summer shirt, right? Christopher, who's holidaying with wife Fann Wong and Zed in the Maldives, was spotted in many bright and fun outfits. Our favourite is this laidback yet put together look of multi-colour striped top with pink shorts.

Jean Danker

It was go big or go home for Jean who wowed in a frilly hot pink frock at the Elvis movie premiere after-party.

Jesseca Liu

Donning a fuss-free outfit of a black long sleeve top, monogram mini skirt and pink bag by Louis Vuitton, Jesseca looked stunning and effortless in her OOTD.

He Yingying

Also going bright and bold was Yingying who looked equal parts sexy and chic in a turquoise cutout dress and matching slippers. Love!

Carrie Wong

Carrie gave her cool all-black look a fun update by teaming with a ruched bandeau top and bowling bag.

Desmond Tan

While we're still on the fence about the high fashion pose, Desmond looks extra stylish in this contrasting look of black top and shorts, bold green cardigan and Prada geometric print tote.

Sonia Chew

Beachwear but make it stylish. Sonia looked effortless in a cream white bralette, matching trousers and teaming it with a classic striped linen shirt and ombré bag.

Rui En

A netizen commented that Rui En’s dress looks like a black trash bag at first glance (and we can't say we disagree). But if there’s anybody who can make it look edgy and high fashion, it’s Rui En.

Jeanette Aw

It was tartans galore for Jeanette who looked striking in the bold yellow checked designs by Dior.

Xu Bin

Xu Bin embraced earthy tones and layers, sporting a cool weather-appropriate low-key look by Fendi.

Fiona Xie

Fiona gave her glamourous getups a break and slipped into something more casual and fun for a photoshoot at the Henderson Waves. Her black and white separates were perfectly contrasted by the colourful embroidery on her Lady Dior bag.

Herman Keh

Looks like Herman’s been experimenting with fashion of late. This week, he was spotted in a green MCM jumper, pink-trimmed white sweatpants and a pair of tinted science lab google-like sunnies, and somehow managed to make the outfit look cool.

Cynthia Koh

How pretty is Cynthia in this matching eyelet two-piece? It's a timeless and classy look that never goes out of style.

Tosh Zhang

From the loud hair (was he inspired by former NBA player Dennis Rodman?) to the poppy print tee, everything on Tosh screams fun and funky.

Chantalle Ng

Chantalle’s cafe-hopping outfit was accented by her Valentino jacket’s oversized lapels. We really dig this dramatic look.

Chen Xiuhuan

Looking fresh, feminine and pretty in pink was Xiuhuan in a princess-worthy dress. We like how she glammed it up with a metallic gold belt and Chanel handbag.

Yang Guang Ke Le

We almost couldn't recognise birthday girl Yang Guang Ke Le at the premiere of her flick Ah Girls Go Army. The singer-host looks fierce and fab in this sequinned number by Balmain.

Phyllis Quek

Clad in a dreamy Regency era-like dress, Phyllis looked like she’d just stepped out of the Downton Abbey set.

Jade Rasif

Ever the fearless dresser, Jade never fails to surprise us with her fashion choices. Case in point: This daring off-shoulder design that puts a sexy spin to the classic LBD. If there’s anybody who can pull it off, it’s Jade.
