If you keep up-to-date with Asian entertainment news, you would have read about how 42-year-old Chinese actor Du Yiheng, who spent a decade working as Andy Lau’s body double, was recently honoured at two international award shows.

His rags-to-riches story touched many and quickly went viral, proving that hard work and patience pays off.

However his newfound popularity also brought about a wave of gossip about his personal life, like how he's married to Chinese actress Yu Ke Hsin, who is best known for being the ex-girlfriend of... you guessed it, Andy Lau.

Yu Ke Hsin, 55, is the only girlfriend, apart from his wife Carol Chu, that the Heavenly King has ever acknowledged. Though we think it's because Andy wasn't as guarded about his personal life during the very early days of his career as he was after he became a star.

It's said that it was love at first sight for Andy, who was just a newbie then, when he met Ke Hsin in 1983 and they started dating shortly after.

In 1985, the couple even signed an unofficial marriage certificate but broke up months later. According to Ke Hsin, she decided to end things with Andy 'cos she felt he loved himself more than he loved her.

After their breakup, Ke Hsin was said to be depressed for years, and it was through a stroke of luck that she got to know Yiheng.

Yiheng is regarded as the person who helped Ke Hsin through her darkest days, and the couple soon fell in love. We wonder if him looking uncannily like Andy had anything to do with it, but we digress. Ke Hsin and Yiheng tied the knot in 2005 and they have an 11-year-old daughter together.

Strangely, the same year that Ke Hsin married Yiheng, she also released a tell-all book about her relationship with Andy, which led many to wonder if she was really over the Heavenly King. We mean, come on, she got hitched to his doppelganger.

In the book, she even claimed that she and Andy promised each other that they would get back together 10 years after their split if they were still single.

Ke Hsin denied the rumours that she was still in love with Andy, and said that the book was her way of getting closure, and that she had gotten over him a long time ago.
