One of the biggest Hallyu (Term for Korean wave, which refers to the spread of South Korean culture) superstar, Rain will perform at Singapore Indoor Stadium (SIS) on 22 May as part of his "The Best" 2011 Rain Asia Tour.

Kpop Icon Rain rose to popularity after releasing his debut album in 2002 and for numerous roles in popular K-dramas and movies. He has also acted in several Hollywood films, including Ninja Assassin in 2009 which made him the first Korean to win an MTV award.

Since his last gig here in 2007, fans have been anticipating for Rain’s next dazzling performance which is likely to be full of glittery costumes and amazing dance moves. Rain recently said on his Twitter “New Asia Tour ‘THE BEST Asia Tour Concert’ starts from Beijing, Macau, Thailand, SINGAPORE, Malaysia, Taiwan etc. Please look forward to the new laser shows!” Ticket details to be announced soon.

The one-night only Korean Music Wave 2011 is set to hit town on 15 July with a total of seven highly popular bands slated to perform at SIS! Event promoter Proof Label has announced that Big Bang and 2NE1 will headline the concert, while the other five bands will be revealed at a later date.
