PlayStation Vita pricing details revealed

The Chinese New Year just ended last month, and PlayStation fans holding on to their spoils of the new year can finally figure out how much to save - Sony revealed the pricing details for the PlayStation Vita value packs and software bundles yesterday just in time for pre-orders to start Feb 11.

Escape Plan

And that's not all - gamers hoping to get into the thrill of the launch event will have a chance to join in the festivities on Feb 22 at 313@Somerset, 5pm. After that, there will be a public roadshow at the same location from Feb 23 to 26, daily, from 12 - 8pm, and there'll be Sony premiums for those who give the PS Vita a shot. So what's in the packages? The basic PS Vita pack will come with the Wi-Fi model of the PS Vita, together with regular accessories like a USB Cable, AC adapter, power cord and manual, and will cost S$399.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss There are two kinds of Value Packs, where you get to choose between Uncharted: Golden Abyss and Ninja Gaiden Σ Plus together with a PS Vita 4GB memory card and an accessory pack on top of the vanilla version of the package, and will cost S$499 and S$489 respectively (yes, Uncharted costs more).

Ninja Gaiden Σ Plus If you don't need the accessory pack, you can get the software bundles for S$479 for the Uncharted package, and S$469 for the Ninja Gaiden package. So what makes the accessory pack cost S$20? You get a case, protective film for the screen, cleaning cloth, memory card case and a wrist strap - which is not too bad a deal for S$20. Excited? Remember Feb 11 is when pre-orders start!
