SINGAPORE — Samsung’s new flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S4, will launch in Singapore on April 27 at S$998 without contract.

From yesterday, interested customers could register their interest for the new smartphone on official M1, SingTel and StarHub sites, or in person at Samsung Experience Stores across the island. As of 7pm today, M1 has closed their registration due to “overwhelming response”. SingTel’s and StarHub’s sites are still open for registration.

Samsung announced the release date and price in conjunction with the launch event for the Samsung Fashion Steps Out 2013 today, where Samsung presented previews of the latest capsule collections by designers Ashely Isham and Joe Chia.

The Galaxy S4 will come in two colours — Black Mist and White Front.
