SINGAPORE — Mr Rick Rosner, the world’s second smartest man according to the World Genius Directory, revealed to Business Insider yesterday (Dec 3) that he takes 50 pills a day to help “make my brain work better”.
Mr Rosner, who has an IQ of 192, provided a full list of his mostly self-prescribed meds, though he admitted that he was no doctor.
He added that most of what he pops helps more for health-related issues. If you prevent age-related cognitive decline, then “that’s sort of like being smarter”, he told Business Insider.
Some of the pills he takes daily include Omega 3 fish oil capsules, half an Aspirin daily, Metformin, various vitamins and Glisodin.
“Along with flossing your teeth, taking half an aspirin or a baby aspirin each day might be the cheapest, easiest way to extend your life. Aspirin knocks down inflammation and keeps your blood thin,” claimed Mr Rosner.
Despite being the second smartest man in the world, Mr Rosner still advised the public against following his routine. “In college, the only chemistry class I passed was Chem 099 for football players and idiots,” he said. “Scepticism is advised. At the very least, Wikipedia this stuff.”
Mr Rosner is also not what many will consider a conventional genius. He claims to have worked as a stripper, bouncer and nude model in the past and has been writing for television quiz shows since 1987.
