SINGAPORE - Yet another one bites the dust.

Allan Wu and Wong Lilin have announced that they are getting a divorce, after nine years of marriage.

In a surprise statement released by their management company Fly Entertainment, Wong and Wu said their decision was “mutual”.

The couple, currently based in Shanghai, also asked for support and privacy for the benefit of their two children.

NICHOLAS TSE AND CECILIA CHEUNG. Hong Kong’s golden couple went through a very public divorce in 2011, after five years of marriage. The two celebrities, who have two sons together, are still constantly hounded by reporters about the status about their relationship, though they maintain that they are still and just good friends.

VERNETTA LOPEZ AND MARK RICHMOND. The former MediaCorp Class 95FM deejays, who were married for four years, announced their split in 2001. Now, more than a decade later, the exes are re-married — but to different people. Vernetta Lopez tied the knot with IT professional Wayne Gladwin in 2009, and Mark Richmond has a son with theatre director wife, Beatrice Chia.

LEON LAI AND GAILE LOK. The pair surprised everyone in 2009, when reporters found out that they had secretly gotten married in Las Vegas a year before in 2008. Mr and Mrs Heavenly King then dropped another bombshell in 2012 — when they announced their split, citing “irreconcilable differences”.

MICHELLE CHIA AND SHAUN CHEN. The two stars started dating in 2004, and their courtship culminated in a live, televised wedding in 2009. Unfortunately, the pair called it quits soon after, in 2011.

RONALD CHENG AND CHARLENE CHOI. Ronald Cheng and Charlene Choi surprised everyone when they announced their break-up in 2010 — mainly because not many knew they had been dating in the first place. They then shocked everyone further by admitting shortly after in a tear-filled press conference that they had been married since 2006, and were actually getting a divorce. Both have since moved on — 30-year-old Charlene is reportedly dating singer William Chan, and Ronald is father to a baby girl with wife, Sammie Yu.
