SINGAPORE — MediaCorp artistes Cynthia Koh, Desmond Tan and Dasmond Koh visited Tanglin Secondary School last Thursday (July 17) to give its students a motivational talk.

The talk was conducted as part of MediaCorp Artiste Management’s new youth outreach programme, which aims to give local television artistes the opportunity to interact with and inspire young students here, whether through motivational talks or appearances at school events.

MediaCorp Artiste Management revealed yesterday that it intends to work with more local secondary schools to organise similar events in the future.

“Through these school visits, we hope that our artistes are able to, on a personal level, be a positive influence on the youth and help them have a positive outlook on life,” said Ivy Low, MediaCorp’s Head of Artiste Management.

The next school visit will see MediaCorp artistes Desmond Tan, Ian Fang and Dasmond Koh interact with the students of MacPherson Secondary School on Friday (July 25).

Students will not only be able to meet the stars in person at the event, but also interact with them online via TAP, the official social media hub for MediaCorp artistes, after their visit. CHANNEL NEWSASIA
