SINGAPORE - Glenn Ong, host of Class 95FM’s The Morning Express, has left MediaCorp to pursue other interests.
Glenn started his radio broadcasting career with the then Radio Corporation of Singapore in January 1995. He spent 8 years with Perfect 10 (now “987FM”) before moving to Class 95FM in 2003.
Ong said: “After 19 years at the top of the Class, it’s time for me to take a break! I’d like to pursue more sleep, travel and go for MMA workouts every day! I’ve never liked saying goodbye so I won’t!”
Georgina Chang, Vice President of English Programming (Music), Radio, MediaCorp said: “We’re disappointed to see Glenn leave, but understand his decision and wish him all the best for the future.”
She added: “We’ve been boldly re-engineering Class 95FM, Gold 90.5FM and 987FM for the last three months, and I can’t wait to reveal it in February!”
