Ellie Goulding, Empire Of The Sun to headline Good Vibes Festival

SINGAPORE – Good news music lovers!

The Good Vibes Festival will return to Malaysia in August, with acts like Ellie Goulding, Empire Of The Sun, Banks and !!! (pronounced Chk Chk Chk) headlining the event. Singapore rockers Electrico will also feature in the line-up.

“We are finally able to share our new songs with old and new friends up north! Good Vibes Festival, here we come!” posted the band on its Facebook page.

The one-day festival will be held at Sepang Go Kart Circuit on Aug 23, 2014. As with last year’s festival, this year’s event will also feature acts from Malaysia, including Da Vagabonds, Bittersweet, Kyoto Protocol (doing a DJ Set), Froya, +2DB, Dangerdisko, Narmi, Faiq and the Manja Mob, The Cotton Field Scarecrowes, YouTube sensation Elizabeth Tan, Lapsap, Indiego & Co and Guibooo.

“We’re thrilled to bring the freshest lineup for this year’s festival,” said Ben Law, director of Future Sound Asia. “Live music has always been a great way to gather people from different backgrounds. Hopefully Good Vibes Festival will help turn strangers and neighbours into friends and encourage lots of people to get involved in music.”

According to its organisers, festival-goers of all ages will not only be treated to a day of music, but the festival will also feature art installations and a food village that will offer dishes by local artisans and vendors.
