SINGAPORE — Radio duo The Muttons will host the Muttons In The Morning radio show on Class 95FM from Mar 2, as part of MediaCorp’s new initiative to reorganise itself in order to better serve its customer segments, the broadcaster announced today (Feb 23).

The two, who have been with 987FM since 2005, said they are “excited” to host the morning show on Class 95FM.

“We’re so excited about the new show! Muttons In The Morning will be the show that does things you’ve never seen or heard of before on Class 95’s morning show. We can’t wait to wake up with you and drive you crazy… I mean drive you to work every morning!” said Justin Ang.

“What better way to usher in the Year of the Goat than with the Muttons!” Vernon added.

These changes are just the tip of the iceberg. Mike Kasem will team up with Joe Augustin to host Gold 90.5FM’s new morning show The Mike and Joe Xperiment! every weekday from 6.00am to 10.00am, while deejays Gerald Koh and Joakim Gomez will get together to host their zany new show The Bro Code every weekday from 4.00pm to 8.00pm on 987FM.

In addition, radio deejay Jamie Yeo, who recently returned to MediaCorp, will host Gold 90.5FM’s afternoon show every weekday from 2.00pm to 5.00pm, while Tabitha Nauser will host 987FM’s afternoon show, every weekday from 12 noon to 4.00pm.

“Radio is a highly local, connective medium in today’s fast-paced Singapore. We’re making our music fit our listeners. Our new shows on Class 95FM & and Gold 90.5FM, fronted by a fresh line-up, will be sharp and engaging. We’re all fired up and can’t wait to deliver an exciting experience for all our listeners,” said MediaCorp’s Assistant Vice President for English Programming Erina Cook. CHANNEL NEWSASIA
