Y.E.S, MediaCorp rules radio airwaves

Singapore — MediaCorp Radio stations have retained the highest listenership numbers in Singapore, according to the latest Nielsen Radio Diary Survey.

Singapore — MediaCorp Radio stations have retained the highest listenership numbers in Singapore, according to the latest Nielsen Radio Diary Survey.

Chinese station Y.E.S. 93.3FM topped the list, remaining the most listened-to radio station in Singapore with a listenership of 23.3 per cent, followed closely by two MediaCorp Chinese stations, Love 97.2FM and Capital 95.8FM, in second and third place, respectively.

Love 97.2FM saw an exceptional increase in listenership, growing from 19.4 per cent to 21.5 per cent.

Class 95FM kept its title as the No 1 English station in Singapore, with a weekly audience of 17.1 per cent.

The survey found MediaCorp Radio stations claimed seven of the top 10 positions.

A series of activities have been lined up to thank listeners for their support. “It’s something we must do to thank our listeners for making MediaCorp Radio stations their preferred choice,” said Florence Lian, Managing Director, Radio, MediaCorp.
