SINGAPORE — Almost three decades after it was first created, the original BK Rendang Burger is back to tantalise the hearts — and stomachs — of Singaporeans.

Created in 1987, the Rendang Burger was the first local-style burger introduced by BURGER KING Singapore. Its removal from the menu in 2011, following a restructuring of the menu, created an uproar and left fans hungry for this unique burger.

These days, the Rendang Burger is still how you may remember it, with the very same recipe from 27 years ago; which means the same texture, aroma and most of all, taste. And this time around, Burger King has added a flame-grilled chicken option, also topped with crunchy diced onions, so non-beef eaters can also enjoy it. The BK Doubles Rendang value meal comes with BK Cheesy Fries and a Tropical ‘Pop’ specialty drink for just S$7.95.
