SINGAPORE — Maybe you like to watch movies without having to wrestle for the armrest with the hairy guy sitting next to you. Or maybe you’re just looking for an excuse to cosy up to your new girlfriend.

Either way, you can now do so at GV Grand’s brand new, 62-seater couple’s cinema, which allows patrons to enjoy extra leg room and privacy. And if you have an extra S$29.90 to spare, Golden Village has also introduced a new Blankie Combo, which comes with a blanket for two people, a large popcorn and two drinks.

“We understand that patrons and business partners look forward to better seats, better sight-lines, new and comfortable amenities in addition to quality content, when choosing a cinema,” said Clara Cheo, Chief Executive Officer at Golden Village. GV Grand, which is located at Great World City, re-opened to the public on Oct 15, after a S$2.5million, month-long revamp.

“We hope the newly renovated GV Grand and the new product types we have introduced will give our customers a grand new movie experience when they visit Golden Village.”

In addition to the couple’s cinema, GV Grand’s largest hall also features luxurious reclining seats, which are available exclusively to ANZ card members from Dec 1. The cinema’s revamped Gold Class Lounge also has brand new seats with call buttons, and an upgraded menu with three new dishes.
