How do you feel about winning the first ever Asia’s Next Top Model?
Jessica Amornkuldilok: There were so many emotions I felt when I was announced the winner. It was a mixture of happiness, surprise and excitement. For me, winning Asia’s Next Top Model was a dream come true and I found the whole experience incredibly amazing.
What have you learnt from the competition?
These are the things I have learnt from the competition: Daniel (Boey) taught us how to dress and mix and match (our) clothes and accessories for casting days, as well as for daytime wear; to come up with your own style and be confident about it; and to wear light make-up when you go for casting sessions.
How would you describe your sense of style?
A combination of cute and girly with an emphasis on being comfortable in what I wear. Sometimes, I would also dress in a more vintage style. For evening wear and formal occasions, I try to (portray) a chic and elegant image.
Has it changed much since you joined Asia’s Next Top Model?
My fashion style is ever-changing as it depends on the occasion and whether there is any dress code or theme provided. I certainly have a better idea (about) how to match my clothes and accessories, thanks to Daniel! I always try to be myself but nothing much has changed with regard to my style of dressing. However, when I go for a job interview or a casting session, I would be more concerned about how I mix and match my outfits.
What does your daily outfit consist of then?
Generally something lightweight as the weather is usually very hot so I like to (wear) a shirt paired with shorts or jeans. If there is an event, I will put on a dress and accessorise with a watch and a pair of earrings to look more elegant. Heels are very important to me so much so that I would still try to wear a pair of kitten heels on normal days.
