SINGAPORE — No longer mere instruments for keeping time, the humble watch has evolved into statement pieces that marry function and form, such as SEIKO’s newest Criteria chronograph watches for men. The new range features a highlighted dashboard-style face with a multi-layer dial, alongside a tachymeter scale on its bezel, as well as luminous hands and indices to allow optimal readability from day to night.

For those who love dynamic adventures, this stainless steel watch is built to perform. It is water resistant up to 100m and boasts scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, standard stopwatch functions and a triple-clasp bracelet.

Stylistas will also appreciate its good looks. Straps are stainless steel or full black ion-plated, while dial faces are available in several colours, such as brown, purple, blue and green. There’s also a black dial option for traditionalists. KENNETH CHOY
