SINGAPORE — White sand beaches, pristine waters and the ultimate South Pacific Islander experience is now just a 10-hour flight away, as Fiji Airway’s direct flights to and from Singapore officially begins.
The country’s national airline’s first flight from Changi Airport takes off tomorrow morning, April 6, and there will be twice weekly direct services to Fiji onboard A330 aircraft every Wednesday and Saturday (while flights from Fiji’s Nadi International Airport are every Tuesday and Friday).
“This is a significant milestone for Changi Airport, with Fiji Airways’ new service bridging new direct links between Singapore and the South Pacific Islands. For travellers in Singapore as well as other parts of Asia and Europe, this development makes accessible to them new and exciting holiday destinations in the South Pacific. This certainly adds to Changi’s attractiveness as an air hub. For Fijian travellers, Singapore is already among their top destinations within Southeast Asia, and we believe this is set to grow further,” said Changi Airport Group chief executive Lee Seow Hiang in a previous press release.
