SINGAPORE — A 20-year-old man and an 82-year-old woman were hurt after a large ceiling fan was hit by a ladder at 21 Street Eating House in Tampines on Wednesday (Oct 28).

According to social media posts by witnesses, maintenance was being conducted on the fan when the incident occurred.

In an Instagram post, user Desmond Ng claimed a worker’s ladder had “hit the spinning fan” during the maintenance.
