SINGAPORE — Three people were taken to hospital after an accident involving three vehicles and two pedestrians at a car park in Yishun on Tuesday (Nov 1).
In a statement on Wednesday, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said it was alerted to the accident at the car park of Block 259 Yishun Street 22.
The police said that the accident involved two cars, one motorcycle and two pedestrians.
A 31-year-old female driver and two female pedestrians aged 64 and 15 were taken to the hospital in a conscious state, the police said.
One video of the accident circulating online shows two people lying on the car park ground in front of a grey car while two other individuals rush towards them to try to help them up.
Another video of the scene shows four people on the car park ground, three of them in an upright sitting position while one is lying down on her back.
One of the people sitting appears to have blood on her face. Beside her, a woman is seen holding a baby and crying. She can be heard screaming in the video. It is unclear how she is related to those involved in the accident.
TODAY has reached out to the police and SCDF for comment.
In a separate image, a motorcycle is seen toppled over to the side beside the grey car.
Police investigations are ongoing.
