SINGAPORE — The Ministry of Health (MOH) said on Monday (June 1) that all the 408 new cases of Covid-19 for the day are linked to migrant workers residing in dormitories.

It continues to pick up many cases among the work permit holders residing in dormitories, including in factory-converted dormitories, because of extensive testing at these places as part of its process to verify and test the status of all workers, it said.

The total number of infections here is now 35,292.

Three new clusters of infections were also confirmed at foreign dormitories. They are located at the HSJV Dormitory (33A Tanah Merah Coast Road), 10 Tuas South Street 12 and 109 Tuas View Walk 1.
