SINGAPORE — A 41-year-old man was taken conscious to Tan Tock Seng Hospital after the car he was driving was involved in an accident with two lorries along Upper Thomson Road on Tuesday (Nov 14) morning.
In response to TODAY’s queries, the police and the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) said that they were alerted just after 7am to the accident along Upper Thomson Road towards Sembawang Road.
A 54-year-old male lorry driver also sustained minor injuries but did not want to go to the hospital.
A six-second TikTok video posted by user “shinaemily” showed the aftermath of the accident with two wheels and some debris lying on the road, where a lorry with a badly dented back had come to a stop.
Part of the debris appears to be cartons of broken eggs, with more cartons seen in the back of the lorry.
It is unclear from the video which vehicle lost its wheels. Two men in what appears to be an SCDF firefighter uniform can be seen hosing down the road.
Police investigations are ongoing.
