Body of Little India accident victim flown home

SINGAPORE — The body of the worker killed in the traffic accident in Little India was flown home to India this evening (Dec 10).

SINGAPORE — The body of the worker killed in the traffic accident in Little India was flown home to India this evening (Dec 10).

Mr Sakthivel Kumaravelu’s body was taken from the morgue on this afternoon and sent to the funeral parlour.

It was later sent to the airport at around 5pm.

Channel NewsAsia understands that all costs were paid by the victim’s employer, Heng Hup Soon.

An official from the Indian High Commission was also present at the airport. CHANNEL NEWSASIA
