COE prices rise across all categories at end of March 17 bidding exercise

SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices rose across all categories at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (March 17).

Premiums for small cars (up to 1,600cc & 97kW) went up by 6.17 per cent to S$44,589.

For large cars (above 1,600cc or 97kW), premiums went up from S$45,001 in the previous bidding exercise to S$47,001.

In the category for goods vehicles and buses, COE prices rose by 5.53 per cent to S$39,589.

In the motorcycle category, premiums went up to S$7,791, compared with S$7,752 in the previous bidding exercise.

And in the open category, which can be used for any types of vehicles, premiums increased by 1.71 per cent to S$47,806.

Cat B (Cars above 1,600cc or 97kW): S$47,001 (up from S$45,001)

Cat D (Motorcycles): S$7,791 (up from S$7,752)

Cat E (Open category): S$47,806 (up from S$47,001)
