COE prices fall in all categories, large cars see biggest decrease
SINGAPORE — Certificate of Entitlement (COE) prices fell across all vehicle categories at the end of the latest bidding exercise on Wednesday (Dec 7), with large cars seeing the biggest drop.

Premiums for small cars (1,600cc & 97kW), or fully electric cars with output of up to 110kW, went down by 2.3 per cent to S$88,503.
For large cars (1,600cc or 97kW), or fully electric cars with output over 110kW, premiums fell to S$105,501 — down from S$113,881 in the previous bidding exercise.
This is the second consecutive decrease in prices for Category B cars, after peaking at S$115,388 on Nov 9.
For goods vehicles and buses, COE prices went down by 0.37 per cent to S$81,501.
In the motorcycle category, premiums dropped to S$12,100 from S$12,589 in the previous bidding exercise.
And in the open category, which can be used for any type of vehicles except motorcycles, premiums dropped by 3.06 per cent to S$110,524.
