SINGAPORE — The Ministry of Health (MOH) said on Friday (March 27) that there are 49 new cases of Covid-19, of which 27 of them are domestic cases.

Of these, two are linked to a new cluster at SingPost Centre, which brings the total in that cluster to three, with the first case confirmed on Wednesday. Five are linked to the cluster at preschool PCF Fengshan in Bedok North, while three are linked to the cluster at Dover Court International School.

This brings the total number of cases in Singapore to 732.

Of the 49 latest cases, 22 of them are imported, as the patients had travelled recently to Europe, North America and Asean (Association of the Southeast Asian Nations).

Except for two cases, 20 were returning residents and long-term pass holders, MOH said.

For the rest of the 27 domestic cases, 18 are linked to identified clusters or previous cases, while nine do not have known links yet and contact tracing is ongoing.

There are 115 patients who are clinically well but still test positive for Covid-19 and they have been transferred to Concord International Hospital, Mount Elizabeth Hospital and the Community Isolation Facility at D’Resort NTUC for isolation and care.
