SINGAPORE — A TikTok user in Singapore who went on her first date ever had a novel idea: Create a Google form to gather feedback on how the date went.
The 26-year-old, who goes by the username “Wikendvidspam'' on TikTok, vlogged her first date experience and posted the video last Sunday (Oct 30).
The video has since gone viral with 1.3 million views and 128,000 likes within four days.
Calling herself an “introverted spinster who has never dated anyone their entire life”, Wikendvidspam’s activity of choice for her first date was a 7km run. An unconventional first date activity we must say, though we think it’s a great way to stress-test your date.
Setting off at the break of dawn, she met her date at Buona Vista MRT Station where they started their run together.
After having a chat over some drinks at Chinatown Complex, the duo walked and talked some more before parting ways.
We’re guessing the date went well, because Wikendvidspam had to give herself a "jaw massage" because she “talked too much”.
After the date, Wikendvidspam made an unconventional move — she sent a feedback form to her date, asking him to “rate the date”.
A number of users who viewed her video loved the idea of a feedback form after a date and complimented Wikendvidspam on the unique approach.
One TikTok user commented: “The feedback form is such a cute idea!”
Wikendvidspam ends off the video by saying that she is pushing herself to develop some people skills because it is important to have these as a “working adult”.
Many TikTokers cheered Wikendvidspam on her journey to step out of her comfort zone and date.
One TikTok user wrote: “Good job for today! It's always scary to put yourself out there, even if it is your 100th time hahaha.”
The question that most users were curious about was: How did her date rate her?
In a follow-up video, Wikendvidspam posted the responses she received from the feedback form.
Among the options of “Excellent”, “Good”, “Fair” and “Could be better”, she was rated “Good” for small talk, “Fair” for eye contact and a 8 /10 for the overall date.
The worst part of the date? The man wrote: “Kept staring at my forehead.”
Wikendvidspam’s date also wrote in the comments section: “Good exercise buddy, would hang out again.”
Buddy? Clutching her chest in the video, Wikendvidspam feigns distress at being supposedly "friend-zoned".
All the best for your future dating exploits, Wikendvidspam!
