Fire at Punggol Drive construction site

SINGAPORE – A fire broke out at a construction site near Blk 677 along Punggol Drive today (Oct 25). The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) received a call from a member of the public at 10.48am requesting assistance for the fire.

SINGAPORE – A fire broke out at a construction site near Blk 677 along Punggol Drive today (Oct 25). The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) received a call from a member of the public at 10.48am requesting assistance for the fire.

SCDF despatched two fire engines, one red rhino, two fire bikes and one fire-fighting support vehicle to the scene and the fire was brought under control within 10 minutes using two water jets. The affected area was a storage room that measured 5m by 5m.

No one was injured in the incident. The cause of the fire is still under investigation at this point.
