Kim Jong-un arrives in Singapore, to meet PM Lee on Sunday

SINGAPORE — North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has arrived in Singapore, some five hours ahead of US President Donald Trump. Both leaders are due to meet for a historic summit in Sentosa on Tuesday.

SINGAPORE — North Korean leader Kim Jong-un arrived in Singapore on Sunday (June 10) afternoon, some five hours ahead of US President Donald Trump. Both leaders are due to meet for a historic summit in Sentosa on Tuesday.

Mr Kim, who landed in Changi Airport around 2.30pm, was greeted by Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan and Education Minister Ong Ye Kung. The North Korean leader will meet Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Sunday.

Mr Kim's motorcade was seen departing Changi's VIP Complex around 3.05pm. 

The North Korean leader's motorcade was seen arriving at the St Regis Hotel around 3.40pm.

Mr Trump is due to arrive in Singapore around 8pm on Sunday.
