M1 launches first prepaid 4G service

SINGAPORE — M1 has announced the launch of the M1 4G Prepaid Data, Singapore’s first 4G prepaid service.

With the new service, M1’s prepaid customers can tap into M1’s 4G network, speeding up Internet access on their mobile devices without having to sign a contract.

“Leveraging on our nationwide 4G network, we are pleased to offer Singapore’s first 4G prepaid broadband service. Our prepaid customers will now be able to enjoy ultra-fast nationwide 4G data access and an enhanced mobile experience,” said Mr P Subramaniam, Chief Marketing Officer, M1 Limited.

The M1 4G Prepaid Data card costs S$18, and offers 1GB of data for use up to one month. The data card will come in both micro and nano SIM sizes, allowing it to fit more kinds of 4G-ready phones. Customers who use up their data can top up the card using a credit card or an M1 top-ip card.

The M1 4G Prepaid Data is available at all M1 Shops and authorised dealers.
