Motorcyclist killed in accident with water tanker truck on AYE

SINGAPORE — A 31-year-old man was killed in an accident on Thursday (Sept 12) afternoon on the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE).

SINGAPORE — A 31-year-old man was killed in an accident on Thursday (Sept 12) afternoon on the Ayer Rajah Expressway (AYE).

The Singapore Police Force said that they were alerted to the accident, involving a motorcycle and a water tanker truck, along the AYE towards Tuas at around 3.26pm.

“The motorcyclist, a 31-year-old man, was pronounced dead by paramedics at (the) scene,” said the police.

The authorities added that investigations are ongoing.

A police tent could also be seen, as other motorcyclists surveyed the damage and directed traffic away from the scene of the accident.
